One apple, one banana, and one papaya together cost a total of $1.05, and 12 apples and 12 bananas together cost a total of $9.36. How much does one papaya cost?

the papaya costs 27 cents i think cuz i divided 24 into 9.36 and got 39 cents so i times 39 by 2 and got 78 cents and i took 78 cents away from the dollar and 5 cents

the papaya costs 27 cents because 12 apples and 12 bananas equal $9.36 and half that is $4.68. Then, divided by 12 is $.39 so one apple and one banana is $.39. Times two equals $.78. $1.o5 subtract $.78 equals 27 cents, the cost of papaya.

I divide 9.36 by 24 and I got .39. Twice of that is .78. 1.05-.78 is .27. Thus one papaya cost 27 cents. (from Alan)

i skip words......
1)12y+12z=9.36, then I divide 12 in both sides, now i know what's y+z is(they are 0.78) then just 1.05-0.78=0.27
the papaya just cost 0.27.( a very cheap one) hahaha

m is equal to 4 because i tried to substitute each number for each unknown letter and 4 is it. We had gone over it in class already
